=SURFACE & PATTERN DESIGN=

The surfaces and patterns that Suzanne designs are created from her original hand painted art works. Styles range from classic to contemporary in abstract, bohemian, floral, geometric, lattice, medallion, and trellis motifs. The designs are appropriate for application on resources such as wallpaper, textiles, rugs, and tile, which are used in the residential and contract interior design industry.
Several collections of the patterns are currently available for purchase on textiles, wallpaper, and soft home furnishings in her online Spoonflower design library. Previous licensed products include dinnerware, linens, shelf paper, wrapping paper, decorative storage boxes, and stationery.
Please contact Suzanne if you are interested in licensing any of her current work or would like to discuss other design concepts and new licensing opportunities.

Below are representations exhibiting how Suzanne is able to develop patterns and motifs from her original artworks and translate them into designs applicable to textiles, linens, wallpaper, home accents, office products, tile, rugs, etc. When these personalized features are incorporated in custom interiors for her clients, it creates a compelling story and a distinguishing character to the space.

Acrylic, watercolor, and gouache are the paint mediums Suzanne mixes up on canvas and paper to define her signature, colorful and vivid paintings. In contrast, her pen and ink illustrations are delicately rendered on paper with a fine pen tip and painted with washes of watercolor. Her training in architecture and design has led to creating her distinct style.
The collections include Gypsy Garden Girls, Cool Pools and Palms, Visions of Italy®, All Gouached Up!®, Boho Blooms and Bungalows, Flowerworks, and La Tinta® to name a few.
Suzanne’s work has been licensed on a wide range of products including home goods, dinnerware, linens, fine art prints, and stationery. Commissions are welcomed and may include house portraits, invitations, architectural renderings, commemorative posters, or whimsical wall décor.
Many of the art pieces and licensed articles are available in her online shops, in local galleries, and directly through Suzanne. Whether your needs are personal or professional, she will produce an exceptional work of art for you or your business. Please contact Suzanne if you are interested in licensing any of the work you see here or would like to discuss other design concepts and opportunities.

=PHOTOGRAPHY=

Suzanne’s love of photography began as a young girl when she would observe her film producer and photographer father manipulate his Nikon single lens reflex camera in ways that fascinated her at the time. After graduating from UC Berkeley, she pursued her curiosity in photography as an artistic and creative way to document architecture and its details. Getty Images has offered a selection of Suzanne’s photographs for world-wide licensing. Her photographs have also been licensed to manufacturers for use on fine art prints, posters, and stationery.
Her work includes commercial, fine art, and still photography working in both color and monochrome, using SLR film, digital, and Polaroid cameras. Whatever equipment is used, creating stunning photography with a unique perspective is the goal, often incorporating pieces in the design of her clients’ interiors.
Please contact Suzanne if you are interested in purchasing, commissions, or would like to discuss other design concepts and licensing opportunities.
